Kelly Nyhan has been my Pilates teacher for more than 10 years. Over the years, most of our classes have been small group reformer, some private Pilates reformer sessions, and during the pandemic, virtual mat Pilates classes. In all settings, over the many years, Kelly is unfailingly positive, supportive, helpful – and funny! I am impressed with Kelly’s concern for our safety, no matter the equipment or discipline followed.

While keeping our group motivated and moving, she always remembers my latest ache or physical challenge. Kelly is a whiz at thinking up accommodations to any routine on the spot. I appreciate Kelly’s continued focus on improving her teaching, as well as utilizing learnings from her work in yoga and Thai massage into her Pilates work.  I feel both lucky and grateful that Kelly is able to keep me limber and moving, despite the continuing advances of age and arthritis.

I have taken Pilates classes from Kelly for over 15 years. She keeps the classes interesting while also keeping everyone safe. Since the stay at home order began Kelly quickly shifted to virtual and has helped me stay healthy & sane with virtual private lessons. Her ability to customize on the spot based on my mood and physical condition shows her years of experience and education in fitness is abundant. I highly recommend taking private or group lessons from her.
